(1) The seal or signature of the document is not true or accurate.

(2) The seal or signature of the document could not be verified through the Embassy's records.

(3) The document fails to meet requirements for sealing, signature or binding, according to both the documents issuer and user.

(4) Any document issued by domestic authorities in China such as Chinese passport, ID or driving license.

(5) The contents of the documents violate Chinese law or may impair China’s policies and interests.
(6) The Chinese Embassy in UK will not legalise the documents which are issued in third country and are about to be used in Mainland China.
